Share Kai is about creating opportunities for our community to actively engage, learn from and make meaningful connections with those from different backgrounds.
We provide opportunities for women from minority communities for social connection and financial security. Learn more about our Cooks Collective here.
We host events that enable people to manaakitanga (care) each other in response to events that impact our communities.
Delicious flavourful fluffy rice cooked with onions, chickpeas, vegetables and spices, topped with coriander. Served with salad and raita (spicy mint and yoghurt sauce) or vegan without sauce. Gluten-free.
Cooked by our wonderful Afghan Cooks Collective member Jamila, who grew up in Pakistan and lived there until her early 20s.
On placing your order please choose your dining time - 12 midday or 12.45pm - due to high demand we are trying to space out our dining, please consider coming at 12.45pm instead of 12 if your lunch break allows!
