Fundraising dinners held in partnership with the Palestinian and Ukrainian communities for humanitarian aid and solidarity to families in Ōtautahi. Share a traditional meal, learn about the people and culture of Palestine and Ukraine.

Events hosted by workplaces or community groups that encourage connection and understanding of the diverse cultures that call Aotearoa home through kōrero, a shared meal or a cooking demonstration.
Share Kai Cafe
Lunch with a purpose! The Share Kai Café connects customers with the cuisines of Afghanistan, Eritrea, Nepal and Morocco every Friday lunchtime in the heart of Ōtautahi.
The Share Kai Café is an learning and economic opportunity for members of the Share Kai Cooks Collective, who take turns operating the café each week.
We run the café every Friday (except public holidays) at WEA Canterbury, 59 Gloucester Street and we have exciting pop-up cafés at different locations throughout the year. Join us!

Share Kai is about creating opportunities for our community to actively engage, learn from and make meaningful connections with those from different backgrounds.
