Share Kai, Share Culture

Share Kai, Share Culture sessions are an opportunity to connect with members of diverse communities, learn about their culture and kōrero over a shared meal. A safe space is created where sharing and learning is encouraged.

Workplaces, organisations, communities and schools can host our Share Kai Cooks Collective groups to cater a meal and run a cooking demonstration sessions. Sessions can be adapted for the needs of your group.

The cost of a Share Kai, Share Culture session includes the catered meal of your choosing and time with members of our Cooks Collective group.

Share Kai Workplace Toolkit

Tips and tools designed to help workplaces run or host their own Share Kai event, a community-building activity that brings people together around food and conversation. Share Kai is a great way to foster connections between colleagues, celebrate cultural diversity, and create a more inclusive workplace culture.

Hold a potluck or BYO meal where colleagues can gather at the table and share about themselves and learn about others.

Encourage colleagues to come together to share recipes with special meaning and share a meal together.

Use the Share Kai Connection Cards to nudge diners to connect with someone new.
