Buna - Eritrean Coffee Ceremony
Have our Eritrean Cooks Collective members join your event and experience the traditional coffee ceremony - buna - with the accompanying evocative scent of fresh coffee and incense and tasty snacks.
This lovely coffee ritual involves preparing small hot cups of fresh coffee - see the green coffee beans roasted, the coffee boiled, mixed with spices such as ginger and served to guests, alongside snacks such as himbasha (a lightly sweetened bread) and popcorn.
The full ceremony and snacks is $18.30 per person for a minimum of 10 people.
Ceremony can be included alongside any meal order with coffee only at a cost of $6 per person (or included free of charge with the Full Eritrean Meal).
