Afghan food is known for it’s delicious deep flavours and the central role it gives rice - making it a good option for those that are gluten-free. Meat (halal) is also a key ingredient in many dishes, although pulses such as ades (lentils) and protein in the form of yoghurt also make it a good choice for vegetarians. Afghan cuisine is influenced by Persian and Central Asian/Indian flavours and ingredients such as cardamon, cinnamon, dried limes, saffron, mint and dried fruits.
All dishes are freshly prepared in response to your order by our Afghan cooks - Latifa, Sakina and Zahra.
Please provide our cooks with at least 7 days’ notice before placing your order.
Catering orders have a minimum of 10 servings per dish. Delivery within Christchurch Central is free of charge (costs may be added for delivery outside of the city).
All prices listed are inclusive of GST.
